A smart, self-confident young Sicilian. He spent his childhood on the streets, where he met and became close friends with Joe Barbaro. Together, the young Vito and Joe pulled off petty crimes, admiring the wealthy mobsters who ran Little Italy and dreaming of an easy life.

Brash and unpredictable, Joe is a career criminal. For ten years, he and Vito have been a true criminal duo. Joe lives the high life, with a taste for hard liquor, fast cars, and easy women. Climbing the criminal ladder is the perfect way for him to satisfy his appetites.

Unlike Vito and Joe, Henry is already an initiated member: he has been accepted into the family, is a full-fledged gangster bound by an oath of loyalty, and is guaranteed the protection of the crime syndicate. It’s unclear why, having attained such a position, he associates with such small-time crooks as Vito and Joe. Perhaps they’ve known each other for a long time and grew up together, or perhaps Henry’s bosses have tasked him with keeping an eye on this pair: none of the three would want them to meet their end, just like an older brother would. Be that as it may, Henry’s standing in the mafia serves as an inspiration and motivation for Joe and Vito. And he’s not just a role model: Henry doesn’t hesitate to help the guys break into the criminal world and advance their careers. The character’s last name is likely a reference to the movie *The Godfather*.
